Dr. Jacqueline Huang Gave a Seminar Speech on the Business Valuation 黃瑋博士在安永會計師事務所分享商業評估的行業情況
2019年7月30日，HKiNEDA的講座邀請了黃瑋博士和安永的交易資詢負责人在安永會計師事務所內分享有關『香港的商業評估標準的倡議』內容，以探討商業評估業界的新動向和新發展。
黃瑋博士詳細解說倡議中的評估準則、强制性績效框架（MPF）、專業操守、業務考核、持續新專業發展和調查投訴機制等，亦分析和評估獨董相關的責任和當中的風險。
被問及何謂「專業」的估值師時，黃瑋博士認為商業評估師應遵守7項核心原則，並通過正式考試展示其專業能力和擁有國際和本地兼備的 “知識體系”，不斷參與持續教育以確保自身與時並進。
On 30th July, 2019, Dr. Jacqueline Huang was invited to a seminar of HKiNEDA to make a speech about business valuation standards in Hong Kong in Ernst & Young LLP.
Dr. Huang shared with the attendants about Hong Kong Business Valuation Quality Initiative which is overserved by SFC and FRC, prepared by 14 organizations including HKINEDA. She had explained in detail the International Valuation Standard, Mandatory Performance Framework, Ethical and Competencies, the CPD and Investigation and Complaint Mechanism. She has further analyzed the responsibility and risk of Independent Directors, who may encounter sanctions from SFC and lawsuits in case of incompliance due to negligence. The risks can be mitigated by consulting a professional and independent valuer to question and scrutinize the valuation models and assumptions.
For questions about professionalism, Dr. Huang put forward 7 principles that valuers should adhere to, and emphasized that ones should showcase their capability and knowledge on the local regulatory system through qualification examinations and remain keen on further education.
