Dr. Jacqueline Huang Discussed with Industry Experts 香港獨董會週年會議 黃瑋博士與專家商討建立商業價值評估的香港標準
香港評值國際有限公司董事總經理黃瑋博士在香港獨立非執行董事協會的2019周年會議中受邀發表主題演講，與來自中國及香港等地的優秀獨立董事們就比較全球商業評估標準、商業評估標準的發展歷史、以及新經濟下的商業評估挑戰一起進行深度交流和探討。
黃瑋博士跟現場的與會人士一起探討有效商業評估標準的發展歷史及重要性，同時也分享在評估新經濟企業方面的挑戰，包括缺乏獨立專業的評估、企業估值過高、新經濟企業的估值偏差及傳統評估方法的困難等，並以虛擬資產闡釋有效新經濟企業評估的方法作為結論。
黃瑋博士表示，現時香港新經濟企業估值挑戰在於缺乏一致的評估標準、道德原則遵循等問題。在確定新經濟企業的估值方法時，應針對一級市場和二級市場對新經濟企業的估值偏差問題作出審慎的檢討及提高在新經濟商業評估的透明度，這樣才能科學合理地確定新經濟企業的價值。
Dr. Jacqueline Huang, the Managing Director of Hong Kong Appraisal Advisory Limited delivered a speech in the 2019 Annual Conference of the Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Directors Association, sharing her views on the global valuation standards, the historic development of standards, and the challenges of business valuation under the new economy with the Independent Directors in Hong Kong and China.
Dr. Huang discussed the importance of business valuation standards and how they are formed throughout history. The new economy, however, brought difficulties to business valuation as the traditional methods may no longer be adaptive to the dynamics and complexity of the market, making independent valuation difficult and businesses be overpriced. Dr. Huang had therefore put forward a solution with virtual assets to illustrate how business valuation can be conducted under the new economy.
According to Dr. Huang, there were no universal valuation or ethical standards in Hong Kong. When determining the valuation approach, the deviation of valuation results between the primary and secondary markets should be reviewed carefully, and transparency should be raised in order to estimate the value of new economy enterprises.
